I never planned to get into branding or marketing. In fact, if you had told me a few years ago that I’d be analyzing strategies, managing campaigns, and discussing conversion rates, I would have laughed and gone back to solving math problems. Yep, I come from a mathematical background—numbers were my thing, not hashtags.

Like most fresh grads, I started my career in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative at HCL, figuring things out as I went. Along the way, I met all kinds of people—some who inspired me, some who doubted me, and some who just confused me. But one thing remained constant: my love for writing. Whether it was poetry, rap, or lyrics, I was always scribbling something.

In 2022, I stepped into the editorial world as an Editorial Assistant at Lumina Datamatics, where I got a behind-the-scenes look at how publishing works. That led me to Chinthan Books in 2023, where I wrote book blurbs (which is basically making books sound irresistible in a few words—tougher than it looks!).

Somewhere in the middle of all this, I decided I wanted to publish my own poetry book and release a rap song. But how do you make people notice your work? That’s when I stumbled into Digital Marketing. What started as a way to promote my own projects turned into something I actually loved—branding, strategy, content marketing, and video editing.

I joined Hindustan Group of Institutions to level up my digital marketing skills, and suddenly, I was deep into social media management, content strategy, and branding. Now, I blend creativity with strategy, using storytelling and marketing to build brands (including my own).

Moral of the story? Life takes unexpected turns, and sometimes, those turns lead to things you never knew you’d be passionate about.
